Kaizen | 1:1 Bespoke Coaching

Big rocks first. Then small steps.

1:1 nutrition and training coaching for busy people, especially parents. I get the major things right to a passing grade, make small deliberate adjustments each week, and leave room for the rest of your life.

The Common Loop

Does this sound familiar?

!

"You still try to train and eat like a 22-year-old—all or nothing, zero allowance for broken sleep or family demands—and burn out every few months."

!

"You have a lapsed history with lifting or sports. You want to be capable and keep up with your kids on the playground, not compete on a stage."

!

"You are tired of conflicting advice. Carnivore one week, fasting the next, leaving you second-guessing what to eat at the family dinner table."

!

"You have a clinical or metabolic condition such as T2DM, high iron, or thyroid issues, and rigid gym templates make you feel worse."

!

"You want to wake up with actual patience and energy for your work and your kids, instead of just scraping through the afternoon on coffee."

!

"You are stuck waiting for the 'perfect time' to start. But life with work and kids will never be completely quiet, so plans that demand perfection fail."

The Philosophy

How Kaizen Works in Real Life

Principle 01

Big rocks first.

Get the major things right to a passing grade before obsessing over minutiae. I focus on the one thing that matters most right now, build consistency, and leave room for family and work.

Principle 02

The next step, not the staircase.

You do not need to solve the next five years today. I focus on your next deliberate daily action: ten focused minutes after the kids are in bed beats an abandoned two-hour gym session every time.

Principle 03

Maintenance counts.

Holding your ground during chaotic weeks is still progress. Kaizen is continuous improvement, not constant escalation. When sleep is rough or work spikes, I protect your baseline so you never restart from zero.

Meet Your Coach

I coach and I teach. Because I have been through the burnout myself.

I am a dad of young kids and a former competitive powerlifter who burned out. I learned firsthand that rigid, all-or-nothing training simply does not survive the reality of raising a family and running a full schedule.

Most fitness advice asks you to become a full-time hobbyist. Kaizen exists so you don't have to. You learn how nutrition and training actually work so you can adapt them to your real week, whether you are travelling for work or dealing with sick toddlers.

My qualifications are grounded in science: a BSc in Food Science and Nutrition, alongside registrations as a Clinical Nutritionist (CNA) and a Sports Nutritionist (SNA). I keep my client roster strictly capped so every person gets genuine, attentive coaching.

Protocol Clarifications

Frequently Asked Questions

This is where my clinical background matters. Most personal trainers are not qualified to handle metabolic conditions. As a Registered Clinical Nutritionist, I work alongside your medical parameters so training and food improve your biomarkers rather than stressing them.
Rigid plans are lazy coaching. If a protocol forces you to cook separate meals from your partner and children, it is already broken. You learn nutrition concepts and how to apply them to your actual household, not follow a long strict list.
Energy and fat loss takes time to get going, but within the first two weeks we will look to build the big rocks. Visible changes in body composition, health and strength tends to build over time, usually over 8 to 16 week windows.
This program was built for that exact situation. A plan only works if it fits your real week. Ten focused minutes after the kids are in bed beats doing nothing. I build around your work demands, sleep constraints, and family commitments.
Clinical practitioners often diagnose well but do not coach training or day-to-day logistics. Gym trainers push effort without understanding blood work. Kaizen combines clinical precision with practical training and regular accountability.
